This is what Hayden says every Wednesday night when we go to his Gymnastics class. He absolutely loves it and does really well at following the teacher's directions, which gives me hope that he will do well in preschool. (I italicized "teacher" b/c he doesn't like me to tell him what he's supposed to do at class.) He's been going since the beginning of March and has caught on better than I thought. I love that he's able to follow directions well and interact with other kids his age. I feel like it will be a really good summer thing for him to do and if we can afford it, maybe he can keep doing it this fall. Tonight, he wore his big boy underwear, did not have an accident, and pee-peed in the potty! I have a peeing genius!!!! Ha!! We're headed to Muscle Shoals on Friday and I hope he can keep it up when we get there. He just gets so excited at Grammy and Dee-da's house. These are a few pictures from tonight's class! The lady in the picture with him is Miss Lori, his teacher. And the huge slide is there at the gym as well. That's really his favorite part and is a great reward for them at the end of their class. He also walked on the balance beam by himself tonight and loves jumping on the trampoline.

Potty Training
Well, here we are in the midst of potty training. Can't say I love it. This is the 3rd day and it's going pretty well. He's only wet his underwear once today and is being good about telling us when he needs to go. What's our secret?...Bribery (1 piece of candy for pee-pee and 2 pieces for poo-poo) The drawback? We haven't left the house in 2 days! Yikes! Anyways, here's a pretty interesting picture of Hayden "fixing" Dave's head this morning.
Here's some of Hayden "hiding" in a box and popping out in a surprise.
And finally, here's one of the guest bedroom. We're ready and waiting for all of our friends to show up.
And here's Hayden's bedroom. We just put the lanterns up today and we were pretty excited at how they turned out. I think he's gonna love his room for a few more years at least!

In Between
For those of you who don't know, we recently moved from Alabama to Georgia. It was not a planned thing, and has been really hard on all of us.
Here's the story in a nutshell:
Right before Christmas, Dave's friend called him to see if he wanted to apply for a job at a station that was a big move up for Dave. We debated and finally decided that he should at least interview. In the mean time, our house had already been for sale for about 6 months with no real prospects of being bought. Dave interviewed at this new station after the new year and was told that it would be 6 to 8 weeks before he would know anything. In 3 weeks they called and said that they wanted him to start in 2 weeks. That very same weekend someone put in a good offer on our house. We closed in 2 weeks and just happened to have a saintly relative that let us use our house while we looked for something in Georgia!

We have now been in our new house for about 3 weeks and are still trying to get settled. I think that our junk is breeding b/c everytime I think I've got things pretty well put in their places, a new box materializes. So, anyway, here's some pics from when my wonderful parents were here helping us look for houses, and from our sad Easter egg hunt. (Before anyone says anything: Hayden and Dave both got the stomach virus that weekend, so I have no Easter outfit pics.)
Enjoy!
