Come and Knock On Our Door

Well, we've had an exciting morning already! I came downstairs to put some clothes in the wash for our trip to Muscle Shoals. I noticed that we didn't get the beach towels from out back last night and opened the back door. I forgot to disarm the alarm! It went off and it is not quiet. For some reason, the alarm company could not get through on our home line. My cell phone is dead b/c I dropped it one too many times (I get a new one today, yeah!). Once they try the home line and cell phone, they dispatch the police. Then, my mother called asking why the alarm company was calling her. Yikes! So, I called the alarm company and just then the doorbell rang. It was the police. So I very politely apologized for their inconvenience and got back on with the alarm company. Next time, they will try the home line twice before dispatching! Hayden and I are off to Alabama today for a wedding this weekend. Maybe I can get some pictures!
