Birthday Trip to Muscle Shoals

Mmmmm....cake.

The party hat was not a favorite of hers.

It was a little chilly in the church.

Future cheerleader.

Carley Grace, our sweet niece, turned 1 last week! Hayden, Livee, and I traveled to Muscle Shoals to celebrate her big day. Unfortunately, Dave was working so I had to make the 4 hour drive alone. *Insert crazy face here.* The drive up was pretty rough. We stopped in Fultondale so I could feed Livee and change her diaper only to discover that there was no changing table in the Arby's bathroom and that I had left the wipes at church last week. It was not fun. The ride back home was less eventful, I am very happy to say.

We didn't have much time for frolicking while we were there, but we did manage to go to a cool new sushi place and shop at a little specialty boutique that was having a great sale as well as attend the birthday bash. Carley Grace got plenty of toys and sweet clothes, so she should be all set for a long while! We had a great time with food, family and cake and are looking forward to seeing everyone again next weekend when we travel to hit up the Muscle Shoals consignment sale.
