18 Weeks

After the stress of last week, it is a relief to say that baby girl LaVecchia is kicking up a storm these days. Last night she was kicking so hard that Dave could feel her! At our ultrasound last week she weighed all of 7 ounces, so it makes me wonder how we could feel her. It seems that overnight on Sunday my belly got bigger, but still not big enough to look really pregnant in maternity shirts. It's getting a little frustrating trying to find something to wear (especially to church), but I'm sure that will be remedied soon with the warming weather and my growing belly. I was weighed and measured at Curves yesterday and have gained a total of 3 1/2 pounds and mostly inches in my belly.
***This is really a 19 week bump pic. Enjoy!***

Hayden has been enjoying his Kindermusik class. Today was our second day (we missed last week) and he seems to catch on to the new musical words pretty quickly. The only problem is that the room is a dance studio so all he and another girl want to do is run around. Dave said if he was in a big empty room he would want to run around too. Hmmmm....I'll let that one go, I think. We have 3 more classes to go. I'm thinking of signing Hayden up for soccer and definitely want to do swim lessons, so we are trying to stay busy.

On Thursday we will head to Charleston for Papaw's funeral. We will stay through Saturday. Hayden gets a bit car sick, so I have to be sure to give him Dramamin for the ride. Other than that, hopefully things will go smoothly. We are staying with Dave's cousin and I know he looks forward to seeing his family. Another cousin has a 2 month old baby girl, so we are excited about seeing her also.

Next Thursday, I will have another OB appointment, then the following week I will head to Muscle Shoals for about a week and a half. Carley Grace will be making her debut and I wanted to be able to help out since I'm not working. Then, in March I will go back to Muscle Shoals for the consignment sale (getting rid of boy's clothes!), and it will be mid-month before I know it. April will hopefully go by quickly and in May Dave has a vacation week where we are just going to stay around town and take Hayden to the places we never seem to get to go to. It seems this pregnancy may go by quicker than I thought!
