Update to Quad Screen and Papaw

We went for our Level II Ultrasound today at a Perinatal doctor's office. Everything turned out fine! They checked the baby's heart, kidneys, spine, brain, head circumference, body circumference, and anything else they could see. They want to monitor the baby's growth b/c they said that the high level of AFP could inhibit growth. Right now, the baby is measuring at the exact due date. It was kicking and swatting (I drank orange juice after lunch), so the sonographer was able to look at everything...and I mean everything.
IT'S A GIRL!!!
We are very thankful to all of our friends and family who have expressed concern and prayed for us during this time in our lives. Please keep us in your prayers as we monitor our little girl's growth.
In other news, Dave's Papaw passed away yesterday afternoon. He lived a long full life and we are grateful for our time that we had with him while he lived in Birmingham several years ago. We will be heading to Charleston at the end of next week for the funeral. Once again, any prayers and thoughts you can send our way are appreciated!
