It has changed colors and is a little more swollen since Sunday. Here's a pic I took today:
Everywhere I go, people look at me suspiciously. Seriously, people, if I popped my kid in the eye would I really go out in public with him? I guess some people do, but jeez.
We did end up taking him to the ophthamologist. Everything looked fine, but rather be safe than sorry. Then he still had a fever (by my thermometer) this morning, so I took him back to the doctor's office to check his ears. He said his right ear hurt, but it looked clear so it must just be soreness radiating from his eye. They also did not get a reading of a fever (who knows?). I felt like that was a big fat waste of a morning, but at least my sanity is in tact. Back to preschool tomorrow (thank goodness), and off to the Shoals Thursday afternoon!
