Sunday Morning Trauma

We got up and made it to church in time for Sunday School this morning. Hayden loves church and was so excited to go today (we haven't been in 3 weeks because of being sick). Towards the end of class, the preschool director came and got me. "Uh-oh" was my first thought. Hayden had tripped over his own feet and hit his eye on the corner of the table.

His teacher was holding him when I got around to the nursery, and he was just pitiful. While I'm sure that it hurt and was very traumatic, he tends to be a little on the dramatic side so all of the female attention was making him even more pitiful. When I took him back to our class, I asked him if he wanted to stay for church or go home and he said he wanted to go home. Oh well... better luck in 2 weeks. Maybe we'll make it to the actual church service then. It always seems to be something.

We hit the drive-thru at Krystal's, came home and fed Livee and ourselves. Then, she had a major diaper blow-out so I'm almost glad we weren't at church for that one! The Lord works in mysterious ways. Dave has to go to work, so here is his Sunday afternoon nap with a little extra cutie. Bless their hearts.

Awwww...Hayden looks like one of my kids all beat up like that! People might mistake him for a Clark!
